External File Shares
The CMIO portfolio participates in a number of Connect Care file and resource repositories managed through the AHS enterprise Microsoft SharePoint server. Each share focuses on a specific audience and purpose, with prominent examples being training and general Connect Care knowledge shares. Among these is an internal file repository entirely controlled by the CMIO portfolio (CMIO Files). It is where files that are referenced/linked from other CMIO publications (e.g. Connect Care Manual) are stored if the resource should enjoy wide availability and not demand userid/password authentication before viewing. Files linked from this "external" store are openly available. Files that should be limited to AHS or Connect Care members can be stored in the "Internal File Share" where userid/password challenge is presented at first link.
